Keel Wallet is a browser extension that creates and stores keys for Keelchain and signs actions with them when you approve.
Your encrypted key material, your settings and the list of websites you have allowed to connect. All of it stays in the browser's extension storage on your device. The extension has no server of its own.
Only what you approve: signed actions and read requests (balances, nonces, receipts) sent to the Keelchain node you selected, by default the public testnet. A website you connect to receives your public address and the signatures you approve, never your keys or your recovery phrase.
No analytics, no telemetry, no browsing history, no personal data. The extension does not load remote code and has no accounts.
storage for the encrypted wallet, and content scripts on keelchain.com and the sites of Keelchain clients so those sites can find the window.keel provider. The extension never reads or changes page content beyond injecting that provider.
